What is a Chemical Peel?

Chemical Peels have been used for decades to revitalize and smoothen skin. They involve applying a chemical solution to remove the damaged outer layers of skin and reveal a younger, clearer, more radiant complexion. They are commonly performed on the face, chest and hands.

Light, medium and deep peels penetrate to different levels and, consequently, produce different aesthetic results. Generally, the deeper the peel penetrates, the more improvement the results, but the more longer the recovery period.

An individual's skin type, degree of damage and personal expectations will help determine which of the procedures is most appropriate. More than 9000 individual and combination peels have been performed at our clinic in the last 8 years.

At Magic Skin and Hair Care we offer a full line of light chemical peels that involve the use of buffered Alpha Hydroxy Acids (AHAs) Glycolic Acid, which are a group of naturally occurring acids, Trichloro Acetic Acid, Salicylic Acid, Mandelic, Lactic, Azaelic, Arginine, Kojic acid & Combination peel. We use peels imported from Neostrata & Delasco U.S.A, Sesderma Spain, Italy .
